At a distance of 17 km from the Palace, it is worth reaching the summit of the highest hill of the Sudeten Foreland – Ślęża (718 m). In the Middle Ages the ceremonies of pagan religious cults, such as celebration of the old slavic Kupala Celebration took place there.
At the top there is a stone tower and a hostel named after Roman Zmorski, built in 1908. You can buy snacks and drinks here and relax on a large glade. If the weather is good, it is worth admiring beautiful views of the Sudety range.
