You will find a variety of fish here, like zander, bream and carp. Various species of birds can be observed in the area, such as black-headed gull, white-frontlet tern, river tern and river plover.

In the summer, the lake is a place of recreation for the local residents. Great for water skiing, boating, canoeing and/or relaxing on the beach.
